Esther P. (Napolitano) Bowles' Obituary
Esther (Napolitano) Bowles, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Esther was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Leo and Philomena (Aiello) Napolitano. She was employed as a loan officer at Marine Midland Bank for over 30 years before retiring. She was a longtime parishioner of Assumption Church.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Susan Salerno; brothers and sisters, Patrick, Vincent, Josephine Imbesi, Grace Charles, and Margaret Hoffsher.
Esther is survived by her brothers, Anthony (Peggy) Napolitano and Leo (Connie) Napolitano; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Esther’s life at 12:00 p.m. at Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St., Syracuse. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Contributions in Esther’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
