Eugene M. "Gene" Norris' Obituary
Eugene M. “Gene” Norris, 77, of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023, after a long struggle with health issues at Upstate University Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born in Syracuse and was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Gene retired from Anheuser-Busch in 2007 after 30+ dedicated years. He enjoyed driving his pickup truck, good food, and the outdoors. Gene especially loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Green.
Gene is survived by his wife, Helen L. (Stevens) Norris; his son, Craig (Laureen) Norris; three granddaughters, Emilee, Jilliann, and Abbee Norris; two stepchildren, Robert (Alice) Roehrig and Donna Roehrig; along with several step-grandchildren.
Gene’s family would like to thank the staff at upstate university hospital MICU 6i for their kind and compassionate care.
