Evelyn L. (Smith) Tibitts' Obituary
Evelyn L. (Smith) Tibitts, 93, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 22, 2023. Evelyn was born in West Eaton, NY to the late Herbert M. and Jessie M. (Hemmingway) Smith. Evelyn was a dog lover and was always very generous to the Humane Society of CNY.
Along with her parents, Evelyn is predeceased by her loving husband of over 70 years, William S. Tibitts; and her son, W. Ronald Tibitts.
Evelyn is survived by several cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 10:00 – 10:45 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel St., Liverpool, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Evelyn’s life at 11:00 A.M. in the church. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Morrisville Cemetery.
