Fani Petkopoulos' Obituary
Fani (Avromopouslos) Petkopulous, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at St. Camillus Health & Rehab Center on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Born in Klines, Greece to the late Starvos and Zaxariah Avromopoulos, she worked alongside her son, Konstantinos, at Dorian’s Pizza on Westcott Street. Fani loved listening to music, watching game shows, and most of all, interacting with customers at the restaurant.
In addition to her parents, Fani was predeceased by her husband, Symeon, in 1983, and her daughter, Lefkothea in 2014.
Fani is survived by her 2 sons, Konstantinos, and Vasilyos Petkopulous; grandchildren, Alexander, Markos, Symeon, Lina, Lisa, Aristotle, and Nikki; nephew, George Petkopulous; cousins, Gianis, and Chrisoula; and close friends, Stavros and Zaxariah Avromopulous.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 1:00 pm in Oakwood Cemetery, 940 Comstock Avenue, Syracuse.
