Florence (Karafile) Naum's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of Florence (Karafile) Naum, 91, of Liverpool. Florence "Baba" passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born in Florina, Greece in 1932, immigrated to Toronto in 1955 and becoming a proud US citizen in 1967, Florence lived everyday of her life to the absolute fullest. Florence was a dedicated employee of B.G. Sulzle for 29 years, an avid lover of fashion, and found joy spending time with her family, beloved cat "Fluffy", cooking and sitting outside in her garden.
A loving mother of son, Chris (Lori) Naum. Dearly loved "Baba" of Lauren (Andy), Ashley and Emily. Loved great-grandmother of Jewelyana and Penelope "Fotenka".
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, John Naum; siblings, Magdalini (Karafile) Brandis, Mary (Karafile) Kotsopoulos, George Karafile and daughter, Anne (Naum) Miller.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Wednesday June 26, 2024 at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd. Syracuse, NY. Private burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
