Fran J. (Chiarenza) Storrings' Obituary
Fran J. (Chiarenza) Storrings, of Westvale, passed away Tuesday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a graduate of Solvay High School, attended business school, was a member of the Central New York Chapter of the KWVA, and was a lifetime communicant of Holy Family Church. Fran worked in the Guidance Department of the West Hill School District for many years and retired from Walberta Park School where she worked in the Nurses Office.
Fran is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Gordon L. Storrings, Sr., her children, Gordon L. (Ruth) Storrings, Jr. of Florida; Donna (Jim) Parr of Skaneateles, and Michael A. (Jeffrey Keefer) Storrings of New York City; four grandsons, Harley (Agnes) Storrings, Jason (Gina) Storrings, Jacob Parr, and Tyler Parr; three great-grandchildren, Christian, Catherine and Sofia; her sister, Susan Smith of Westvale, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Dr. Rosenberg, Dr. Nazem, and to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital SICU.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:45 AM on Friday at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church, where a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Warners. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
