Frances Ann (Lenuzza) Bell, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Born and raised in Utica, she excelled in science and sports and lived there until a missed bus and a cup of coffee led her to L Read Obituary

I will always remember her smile, her wave or hello, as she went off on her bike ride, walk or one of many sporting adventures. She was a wonderful neighbor and will be missed. God Bless.

Dear Lou & Family, I met Fran when she & Lou had a camp on Melody Lake when Lou & I worked in Marathon. Fran was welcoming, always smiling, happy and would do anything for you. We had great times at DOTSKI organized and hosted by Lou & Fran and I thought I skied decently until I met Fran and I couldn’t keep up with her! There are many fond memories with Lou & Fran at Christmas parties, cruises and DOTSKI Labor Day at their camp. Fran was a great lady who will be missed by many.
To me Frances will always be Mrs. Bell and her loving husband will be Mr. Bell. We were so blessed to have them as our across the street neighbors. Sending my love to Mr. Bell, their children, grandchildren and great grandchild. Peggy
We have the fondest memories of Fran growing up on Longwood Dr. She was a great friend and neighbor, and was the “cool mom” who skied and played tennis. Fran was always in a good mood and was a lot of fun! Our hearts go out to the entire Bell family for your loss.

Mr. Bell, Richard and Diane - My memories of your wife/mom are such happy ones. She had such an infectious laugh and always welcomed us neighborhood kids to the house and pool. Thanks to her, I know how to swim! My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.
Those of us who could call Fran “friend” were fortunate. For sixty plus years we spent almost every week getting together for various activities. Related to sports, we participated in tennis, golf, walking, kayaking, biking, and swimming. In the winter, she did cross-country skiing but liked downhill skiing the most. Most of us couldn’t keep up with her. Over the years, she and Lou held many parties for all friends. On Tuesday's at song mountain, they would bring a variety of wine to have at lunch time along with having parties at their camp loaded with great food and company. Fran will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.

I am so sorry to read of Fran's passing. She indeed was a great lady. All I can remember is that she was a great athlete at Proctor, winning many sports awards in several sports. She was kind and thoughtful. All I can think about is our days in East Utica, and the fun we had growing up in those days.
Another one of the Great generation has passed but her memory will live on.
When you look into someone's eyes you see their Soul. I saw a wonderful person in Fran.

Fran will certainly be missed. She was fun to ski with, attend DOT Christmas parties with, go cruising with, and she was the perfect hostess at get-togethers at your camp. One of the friendliest people we know.
