Frances G. Crossman's Obituary
Frances G. Crossman, 56, of Cicero, passed away Wednesday at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse and was employed as a Lab Technician for the Wallie Howard Jr. Center for Forensic Sciences in Syracuse. Frances was famously known as the family photographer and some of her hobbies included scrapbooking and bowling. She loved spending time with family and was an inspiration to all and loved by so many.
She was predeceased by her father, James Champagne Sr. and her brother, Jerry Champagne.
Frances is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Crossman Sr., her son, Richard Crossman Jr., her daughter, Jennifer Crossman, her mother, Emily Champagne; siblings, Sandra (Reynold) Hayes, Juanita (Joseph) Starowicz, Dawn Champagne, James Champagne, Jr. and John (Nancy) Champagne, Terri Lucken, and Laurie (Rich) Nesci; honorary sisters, Margo Nish and Karen Sgarlata; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 1:00 – 3:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Frances’ life immediately following on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
