Frances (Fire) Fragola's Obituary
Frances (Fire) Fragola, 93, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully listening to Christmas music at the Francis House on Friday, May 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Peter and Rachelle (Ragusa) Fire. Over the years, Frances had many various occupations, including at Leo Branche Pharmacy, Sam Dell Dodge, and the Trivet House Restaurant.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Marie L. (Peter) Fragola, Angelo (Dorothy) Fire, Louis (Peggy) Fire, and Peter Fire, Jr., her former spouse, John F. Fragola, Sr., and her grand-dogs, Magic and Curly.
Frances is survived by her sons, Dr. John (Kathleen) Fragola and Dale Fragola; her grandchildren, Alexandra Marie Fragola and Michelle Fuller; her sister-in-law, Janice Fire; her grand-dog, Manny; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 9:00 – 9:45 A.M., followed by a funeral Mass in celebration of Frances’ life at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St. Syracuse. She will be laid to rest privately in Assumption Cemetery.
