Frances P. Fuzfa's Obituary
Frances P. Fuzfa, 73, of Syracuse, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, from a long-term illness which she fought with strength, courage, and dignity. She was born in Syracuse on January 11th, 1944, daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Lotito of Lyncourt. She worked at Killian Manufacturing where she was employed for thirty years. She was a multitalented individual with many qualities which included: cooking/baking, sewing, painting, and gardening, qualities that don’t even begin to describe her attributes. She was an incredibly kind and caring person. She found great joy in taking care of others and hosting gatherings surrounded by her friends and family. She was a selfless individual who put everyone else’s needs before her own. The world was a better place with her in it. She was happiest spoiling her grandchildren whom she loved to the moon and back.
She is survived by her long-term companion of 40 years: Linda Gayle Williams, daughters; Lorraine Fuzfa, Linda Epps and son-in-law Steven Epps, and their children; Steven, Johnathon, and Nicole. (Kimberly Meola, Trevor Scalise, Jacob Meola); siblings, Theresa Blasier, Louise Clearo, Nicholas Lotito, Joanne Lotito; (Cynthia, Charlie, Alex, Walter, Paul, and Claire Sodja); many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Frances’ life will take place at noon on Friday September 8, 2017, in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
