Frances C. "Fran" Mariano's Obituary
Frances C. “Fran” Mariano, 87, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2022, at Loretto Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Syracuse to the late Connie (Boccardo) and Samuel Museums, Fran worked for the Rescue Mission for several years. She enjoyed singing, making jewelry, coloring, and doing puzzles in her free time. She was a member of Abundant Life Church for 25 years. Fran was a devoted wife and mother, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Fran was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Mariano Sr. in 2018 and her son-in-law, Rikki Bardrof in 2022.
Fran is survived by her children, Anthony (Joann) Mariano Jr., Loriann Bardrof, and Michele (Ralph) Mariano-Lovern; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Mark, Amanda and Caleb Mariano, Jeremy (Jennifer) Bardrof, Jessica (RJ) Kenny, and Racheal Devine; five great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Gavin, Addison, Colden, and Wyatt; sisters, Sharon (David) Schutt, and Linda Raiti; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday, January 6, from 11:00 am – 12:45 pm at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212. A funeral service in celebration of Fran’s life will follow at 1:00 pm.
