Frances D. (Orsini) Joynt's Obituary
Frances D. (Orsini) Joynt, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away Friday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Fenelli) Orsini. Frances was the co-owner of “Sisters Three Restaurant” for many years. She was a very spiritual person who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Frances unconditionally loved her family and they meant the world to her.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Joynt in 1982, and her siblings, Angela, Lillian, and Richard.
Frances is survived by three children, Judy Joynt of Cicero, Dawn (Allen) Hogan of N. Syracuse, and Paul (Lori) Joynt of N. Syracuse with whom she resided; four grandchildren, Matthew, Steven, Sara, and Paul Jr., three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Katie, and Adam James; her sister, Gerry (James) Vaccaro, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Service officiated by Fr. Lou Aiello in celebration of Frances’ life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
