Frances R. "Fran" (Walker) Angarano's Obituary
Frances R. “Fran” (Walker) Angarano, 86, of Lyncourt, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse to the late Robert and Marion (Robeson) Walker, Fran attended Blodgett Vocational High School. She worked for many dedicated years as a receiver for P&C Foods and volunteered at St. Daniel Church.
Besides her parents, Fran is predeceased by her husband, Anthony J. Angarano in 2014 and five siblings: Peter, Richard and Robert Walker, Alice McDaniel, and Caroline Galipault.
She is survived by her children, Karen Angarano, Laurie Angarano Hare, Sherry (Thomas) Carney, Kim Angarano, Michael (Donna) Angarano, and David Angarano; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 4 – 6 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral mass in celebration of Fran’s life will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10 am in St. Daniel Church, Lyncourt. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
