Francesco "Frank" Mazzilli's Obituary
Francesco “Frank” Mazzilli, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on March 26, 2019 at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born in Bisceglie, Italy, son of the late Bartolomeo and Maria (DiMolfetta) Mazzilli. He is also predeceased by his daughter, Francesca and former wife, Paula.
Frank is survived by three daughters, Lisa Mazzilli (Chris Mt. Pleasant) of Baldwinsville, Maria Gloska of Baldwinsville and Angela (Scott) Reed of Liverpool; eight grandchildren, Frank, Andrew, Joseph, Kassondra, Bailey, Adam, Nicholas, and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Ryan Jr, and Jocelyn; his sister, Theresa (Michael) O’Connell of Buffalo; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his roommate and best friend, Tommy Berdan.
Frank was the owner and operator of FM Lawn Maintenance and Snow Removal. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in St. Augustine’s Church, Baldwinsville. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
