Francis M. "Frank" Barletta's Obituary
Francis M. “Frank” Barletta passed away after an illness on November 23, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 71. He was a longtime resident of Liverpool, NY, and grew up in Syracuse’s Little Italy on the northside where his parents, Joe and Katie, operated Joe’s Cleaners. Frank served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Frank was a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle, as well as a local business owner. Frank was an accomplished hair stylist and owned and operated Concepts in Hair Beauty Salons for over 40 years. Frank also had his captain's license and loved boating and fishing on the St. Lawrence River.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (daughter, Lisa, granddaughter Gianna), son, Michael (wife, Courtney, granddaughter Wrynn), and sisters, Carol (daughter, Adrianna) and Anna.
Frank will be remembered, loved and missed by countless friends and family members. The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Frank by the nurses of St. Joe’s MICU.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life at 11:30 am in St. Margaret’s Church, Mattydale. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
