Francis J. "Frank" DeMichele's Obituary
Francis J. “Frank” DeMichele, 82, of DeWitt, passed away October 9, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Aldo and Dora (Carno) DeMichele. Frank graduated from Smith Tech High School and was a self-employed master carpenter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Maryann (Baranello) DeMichele; two daughters, Mary Frances (Bob) Piraino and Luanne (Chaz) Giannino; five grandchildren, Marlise (Kyle) Burton, Dayna (Justin) McKain, Dante, Marco and Luca Giannino; two great-grandchildren, Dylan Burton and Blake McKain; his brother, Mark (Barbara) DeMichele of Phoenix, AZ, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 9:30 am – 10:45 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Frank’s life at 11:00 am at the church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
