Francis A. "Frank" Malfitana's Obituary
Francis A. “Frank” Malfitana, 73, passed away peacefully at Chittenango Grand Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. He was born in Syracuse, NY on November 8, 1941, the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Mastry) Malfitana. Frank retired from Carrier Corporation where he worked for 40 years. Frank was a well-rounded piano and organ player who loved classical music. He was also an antique collector.
Frank is survived by his sister, Patricia (Leonard) Bilotti of Cicero; two nieces, Jill Bilotti of Cicero and Jodi Bilotti (Kenneth) Howe of Cary, NC; two great-nieces, Morgan Rose and Abigail Grace of NC.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life at 11:00 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Monday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
