Francis A. Notcher's Obituary
Francis A. Notcher, 80, of Camillus, passed away June 29, 2024 in Colorado. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Peter and Marie (Anthony) Notcher. Francis graduated from Solvay High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College. He was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. Francis worked as an account associate for Xerox Corporation, retiring after many dedicated years. He enjoyed fly fishing and could never say no to a beer. He had an infectious personality and became friends with everyone he met. Francis was a great man and loving husband and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, David Notcher.
Francis is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joanne Caracci; his sister, Nancy Mehlem; his sister-in-law, Diane Notcher, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 10:45 – 11:45 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Francis’ life at 12pm (noon) at the church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors in the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Howlett Hill Rd., Syracuse, NY.
