Francis "Bud" Sehl's Obituary
Francis “Bud” Sehl, 91, of Cicero, passed away June 26, 2024, at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Frank C. and Mary Margaret (Ginley) Sehl. Francis graduated from Eastwood High and worked for the City of Syracuse as a Fireman. He was also a South Bay Volunteer Fireman. Francis was a member of the Lions Club, Moose Club, PIFS Hunting Club and Maple Bay Rod and Gun. Besides his family, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and playing pitch.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Block) Sehl and two sisters, Mary Alice Sehl Malay and Elizabeth Sehl Francey.
Francis is survived by his children, Jean (Charles) Everett, Barbara (Robert) Rafka, Daniel (Debbie) Sehl, Janie (Mario) Pallotta and Edye (Rick) Zinter; five grandchildren and one great grandchild, along with many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank The Heritage for their compassion, care and respect, especially Brian Williams and Margaret Swieton.
Private services will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
