Frank N. Addabbo's Obituary
Frank N. Addabbo, 84, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse, he served with the US Navy during WWII. Frank was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church and a member of the Solvay Tigers and Solvay Geddes Veterans. He was a longtime member of the Lyncourt Fire Department for 37 years, he was often referred as "Father Frank". He was a manager with General Electric for 38 years, retiring in 1988. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Sardella) Addabbo; 2 sons, Frank J. Cutre of CA. and Peter J. (Dawn) Addabbo of Memphis, NY; a grandson, Cole Joseph Addabbo; a brother, Michael (Joanne) Addabbo of Syracuse; 2 sisters, Rose Zappala of Solvay and Lucy Walters of Westvale; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 8:00 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 9:00 AM in St. Daniel's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in the Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to St. Daniel's Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
