Frank A. Alcaro's Obituary
Frank A. Alcaro, 66, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and was employed with New Process Gear, retiring after 30 years of service. Frank was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, having coffee at Stella's Diner and going to the casino, but most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Carmela Alcaro and his brother, Anthony Alcaro. Frank is survived by his three children, Bridgett (Emilio) Chirico of Cicero, Louis A. Alcaro of Liverpool and Keri L. (David) Mezzanotte of Liverpool; six grandchildren, a brother, Robert (MaryJo) Alcaro; a sister, Jean Baron and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
