Frank William (Bombardo) Bombardieri's Obituary
Frank William (Bombardo) Bombardieri, 83, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at home.on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Frank was employed with various produce companies at the Regional Market and lastly with Mento Produce at the time of his retirement. He was an avid Friday card player with his family, loved his manhattans, enjoyed golfing and going to the casino and was a car enthusiast. Frank loved telling stories and reminiscing with his siblings and enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Franks family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Cambarieri and his staff and to Dr. Himpler and his staff for their loving care and compassion.
He was predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Rose (Clemeno) Bombardieri; his brothers, Floyd, Albert, Joseph, Pat, Anthony and Arthur; his sisters, Helen Corasaniti and Mary Anne Krisanda.
Frank is survived by his sisters-in-law, Pearl Bombardo and Rachel Bombardieri and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Funeral service in celebration of Frank’s life will be held at 12:00 pm (noon) on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial with military honors will be in the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) on Thursday at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse.
