Frank D. Crisalli III's Obituary
Frank Dominick Crisalli III, 39, of New York City, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born in Syracuse to Frank Crisalli, Jr. and Rose Marie (Procopio) Crisalli.
Frank was a manager at Radio Shack, supervisor at Tim Hortons and an assistant at the New York State Fair family business. He enjoyed playing football as a child and loved watching football and SU games. He attended games at Yankee Stadium in his neighborhood. Frank also loved to read and was an eloquent writer.
As a child, Frank’s magnetic personality was full of smiles and adventure. His determination and perseverance led him to NYC, a place he loved, to successfully overcome his addiction. In Frank’s heart, he believed that the pain he endured was not worthy to be compared with the peace and glory of eternity. He led a simple life and treasured times with his children, family and Renee.
Frank was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Romanus Crisalli; his maternal grandparents, Dominick and Rose Procopio, and his partner, Renee C. Marshall.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his children, Michael James, Frank IV and Lucia Marshall Crisalli; his sister, Kristen Crisalli (Luke) Rood; his brothers, Dominick (Kimberly) Crisalli and Michael Stephen Crisalli; his aunts, Frances (Anthony) Brigandi, who is also his Godmother, Barbara Procopio, Annette (Robert) Knapp and Christine (Michael) Schug; his uncles, James Crisalli, who is also his Godfather, Mark (Rosie) Crisalli and Samuel (Susan) Crisalli; his great-aunt, Frances Grecco; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church, 406 Court St., Syracuse, followed by a funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life at 11:00 A.M. in the church. He will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dewitt.
