Frank Giannantonio's Obituary
Frank Giannantonio, 70, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Nicholas and Carmella (DeMauro) Giannantonio. Frank retired from MONY after many years of service. He was a member of Assumption Church Men’s Club. Frank loved to cook for family and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved brother-in-law, Richard J. Sisto.
Frank is survived by the mother of his children, Patricia A. Rousell; 3 children, Carmella (James) Turner of Weedsport, Nicholas J. (Misty) Giannantonio of Fulton, and April (John) Garcia of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Vicky (Bill) Appel, Frieda Sisto, and Joanne Giannantonio, all of Syracuse; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
