Frank Lazzaro's Obituary
Frank Lazzaro, 68, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Soverato, Calabria, Italy to the late Francesca “Nina” (Ranieri) and Ernesto Lazzaro, Frank retired from the Laborers' Local 633 after many dedicated years. He loved to fish, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Anthony Lazzaro.
Frank is survived by his siblings, Maria Lazzaro, Vincent (Suzanne) Lazzaro, Annette Lazzaro, and Frances Ann Lazzaro; nieces, Adrienne Lazzaro, Christine (Eric) Miller, and Marissa Lazzaro; great-nieces, Gianna, and Milena; great-nephew, Eric; and his close friend, Mary Foote.
A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Frank’s life at 12:00 pm in the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank’s memory may be made to the Assumption Food Pantry, 808 N. Salina St. Syracuse, NY 13208.
