Frank N. Lombardo's Obituary
Frank N. Lombardo, 96, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Forest View at Fayette. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Samuel and Adelaine Lombardo. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII. He worked as a presser for Learbury’s, retiring after many dedicated years. Frank was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball and football.
He is predeceased by two brothers, Dominic and Michael Lombardo, and his sister, Frances DiBello.
Frank is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ellen (Tuttle) Lombardo; two daughters, Linda A. (Robert) Staunton and Donna M. (Richard) Gibbons; a stepdaughter, Jennifer A. Rivera; a stepson, James L. Bozyck; his granddaughter, Stephanie Steffens; his grandson, Richard F. Gibbons; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille Ferrara, along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Frank’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
