Frank Lorenzo's Obituary
Frank Lorenzo, 73, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Saturday at the Francis House with his loving family by his side. Born in Reggio Calabria, Italy, Frank worked most of his life in construction with Kossoff Construction Company before retiring. He has spent the last 10 years wintering in Florida with many friends. Frank was a communicant as well as an usher at St. Vincent DePaul Church. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Giovanna Lorenzo in March of 2010. Frank is survived by his three children, John (Kelly) Lorenzo of Clay; Paul (Maria) Lorenzo of Jamesville and Maria Lorenzo of Liverpool; six grandchildren, Anthony Ranieri, Stephanie (Vito) Romagno, Matthew, Nicholas, Marianna and Michael Lorenzo; his sister, Fortunata (Mary) Canino and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in St. Vincent DePaul Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will take place. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Clay. Family and friends may call the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 VICKERY RD. (CORNER OF BUCKLEY RD.) N. SYRACUSE, NY on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. Frank's family would like to acknowledge and give a special thanks to Hospice of CNY as well as all the nurses and caregivers at the Francis House.
