Frank J. Morasco, Sr.'s Obituary
Frank J. Morasco, Sr., 89, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on July 10, 2019 at the Carolina Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Batavia, NY, and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Frank worked in commercial construction for The Haynor Hoyt Corporation for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing.
He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Jenny (Delio) Morasco, and is the last surviving child of many siblings, he is also predeceased by his daughter, Mary Neimeier.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Angela (Gazzara) Morasco; sons, Vincent (Fran) Tramazzo and Frank (Wendy) Morasco, Jr.; a daughter, Josephine “JoAnn” (Kenneth) Shufelt; a son-in-law, William Neimeier; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Charles Gazzara, and Peter Gazzara, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Frank’s life at 1:30 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.), North Syracuse, NY. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.
