Frank A. "Papa" Palma's Obituary
Frank A. Palma, 91, “aka Papa”, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 10, 2023. He was born in Collelongo, Italy, son of the late Alberto and Anna Marie (Cesta) Palma. Frank came to the U.S. in his early teens and settled in Syracuse, where he met his wife, Elodia, and together raised 4 children. He retired from Learbury after many dedicated years. Frank was a man of faith and a hard worker who always provided for his family. Papa loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his 1st wife, Elodia (Cappa) Palma in 2004 and 2nd wife, Agatha Ann Larkin-Palma in 2019; brothers, Angelo Palma and Romano Palma.
Papa is survived by his children, Albert (Chris) Palma, Danny Palma (Denise), AnnMarie (John) Kelleher and Theresa (Jeff) Difulio; five grandchildren, Kyle (Lauren) Kelleher, Kasey (Brian) Hamilton, Kevin Kelleher, Tera Palma and Danielle Palma (Jordan); two great-grandchildren, Elodia, and Lyle; two step-grandchildren, Liz and David Rogers; two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Rita; four nephews, and many relatives in Italy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 9 – 10:45 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Frank’s life at noon in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse. He will be laid to rest in Assumption Cemetery.
