Frank J. Shaw's Obituary
Frank J. Shaw, 88, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born in Lansing, Michigan and was a Michigan State graduate. Frank served with the U.S. Army during WWII. He owned and operated The Frank J. Shaw Insurance Agency for many years. After retiring from his business, Frank worked at the Camillus Home Depot for several years.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Eunice A. (Kilmer) Shaw on June 5, 2015.
Frank is survived by his three sons, Donald J. Shaw of Syracuse, David R. Shaw of Bar Harbor, ME and Jeffrey S. (Hillary) Shaw of East Syracuse; two daughters, Wendy (John) Kent of Whitesboro, NY and Lee Wilking of Binghamton, NY; his sister, Beth Leppert of Minnesota; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with a remembrance at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
