Frank "Denny" Tyler's Obituary
Frank “Denny” Tyler, 78, passed away June 5, 2019 after a tremendous battle with cancer under the excellent care at St Camillus. Denny retired from the Division of Military and Naval Affairs, working for over 20 years as their master mechanic. He was a State Champion Archer and his greatest love was camping, fishing and hunting with his family. Denny took tremendous pride in everything he did- and he could do just about anything.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Eugene and Suzanne.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Nina (Tartaro) Tyler, of 50 years; 3 daughters, Dena, Tesha and Maureen; 3 sons, Kevin, Sean and Rich (Lee), 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Gregg (Sue), Myrna, and Donna; many nieces and nephews and close family friends, Shirley Nicholson who was like a sister to him, and Pat Pavia.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 4 to 6:30 pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Denny’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
