Frank Verrillo's Obituary
Frank Verrillo, 86, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in San Pietro, Italy, son of the late John and Cristina (Troianelli) Verrillo. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He worked in construction for most of his life before retiring from JGA Construction in Syracuse. He enjoyed spending winters in Myrtle Beach.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Katherine (Lang) Verrillo; four children, Christine (John) Camille of North Syracuse, Daniel Verrillo of Highpoint, NC, Nancy (Stephen) Hauprich of Cicero, Steven Verrillo of Tully; six grandchildren, Morgan (Zach) Abbott, Taylor, Madison & Kasey Verrillo, and Dylan & Justin “JT” Hauprich; his sister, Josephine Vacca; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO, JR. FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Friends and family call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
