Frederick A. Giarrusso's Obituary
Frederick A. Giarrusso, 86, of Syracuse passed away on Wednesday at Central Park Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse, he was a WWII Veteran. Frederick was employed with Balduzzi's Big M for 20 years and Williams Super Market , retiring from Nojaim Market. He was predeceased by his wife, Henrietta Giarrusso in 1994. He is survived by 3 sons, Daniel (Michele) Giarrusso of Baldwinsville, John Giarrusso of Syracuse and James (Patricia) Giarrusso of FL; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas, Maria, Danielle, Genevieve and Josie; 1 great-granddaughter, Anna Bella; a brother, Robert (Amy) Giarrusso of Syracuse; 2 sisters, Clara Daino of NJ and Eva Stagnitta of Syracuse; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 7:45 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home, and 8:30 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
