Frederick W. Luebke, Jr.'s Obituary
Frederick W. Luebke, Jr, 77, of North Syracuse, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Born in Queens, NY, son of the late Frederick W and Dorothy (Gravatt) Luebke, Sr., Frederick was a veteran of the United States Navy. After his military service, he was a Nursing Administrator for SUNY Stony Brook for many years. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, member of the Knights of Columbus, a past Grand Knight, Boy Scout Leader for over 30 years, current president of the North Syracuse Senior Citizens Club, and a member of the Mattydale Senior Citizens Club. Frederick enjoyed fishing, golf, military miniatures, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Thomas.
Frederick is survived by his loving wife, Maryjane (Hamlin) Luebke; his two sons, Frederick W. Luebke IV, and James S. (Nicole) Luebke; grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Collin, and Gregory Luebke; sister, Elizabeth Ann (William) Wallace; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212.
Services in Long Island, NY will take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Maloney Funeral Home, 825 Main St. Holbrook, NY. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in Church of the Good Shepherd, 1370 Grundy Ave. Holbrook, NY. He will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.
