Fred was a '58 classmate of mine at Marcellus Central. I know Fred had his health problems but he was a loyal attendee of our class reunions. He and my husband, Joe, had a couple of common threads ---members of the '56 champion football team (their coach Bill Skye who recently passed with no services but donations to the Marcellus Mustangs Football team); and they were drafted in '61. Remembering this wonderful man thru which I had known him thru growing up with his daughters. Always welcomed all the kids from the neighborhood. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to the family and especially Mama Mohr…I pray that the memories and love you have for him will help ease your pain and sadness now. Fred was always welcoming and patient with us as teens. In Jeanette and his home, we all knew we had a safe place to go. He was a kind and gentle man. He raised his kids to have the same qualitys. I will miss our dinner gatherings and how he was so happy to have his family surrounding him at those events.
