Fredrick J. "Rick" Delles' Obituary
Fredrick J. “Rick” Delles, 61, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Rick was born in Syracuse to the late Frances (Carfagno) and Richard J. Delles. He owned and operated two local, reputable establishments, Delles Automotive and Delles Corner Store in Solvay. Although he was a successful business owner, Rick always made time for doing the things he enjoyed, such as boating and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sharon (Baniak) Delles; his children, Morgan and Lindsey Delles; several siblings; along with a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 4 – 7 pm on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A funeral mass in celebration of Rick’s life will take place at 10 am on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at The Church of St. Michael and St. Peter, 4782 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse.
Rick donated his organs to those in need and in keeping with this selfless act, his family would like contributions in lieu of flowers made to Donate Life CNY, 185 Jordan Road Troy, NY 12180.
