Gail A. (Graber) Diliberto's Obituary
Gail A. (Graber) Diliberto, 83, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully, August 4, 2022, at Loretto. Born in Utica to the late Marion (Lindsay) and John Graber, Gail was a secretary at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for 25 dedicated years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and bird watching. She loved to travel out west, and most of all, enjoyed time together with her beloved children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Gail was predeceased by her husband, James, and her brother, Brian Graber.
Gail is survived by her son, Salvatore (Colleen) Diliberto; her daughter, Donna Diliberto; 2 grandsons, Mark, and Scott (Nickie Turi) Diliberto; a sister, Karen (Ina LeClaire) Graber; 2 brothers, Mark (Sue) Graber, and Richard (Terry) Graber; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 10:00 am – 11:45am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, a funeral service in celebration of Gail’s life will follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Entombment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gail’s memory may be made to the Humane CNY, 4915 West Taft Rd. Liverpool, NY 13088.
