Gail Anne (Azzoto) Henderson's Obituary
Gail Anne (Azzoto) Henderson, 71, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by her family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Orlando and Anne (Stager) Azzoto. Gail graduated from Liverpool High School and attended cosmetology school to become a hairdresser. She also worked 16 years as an administrative assistant for Paychex. Gail enjoyed crafting, her casino trips, vacationing with family in Ormond Beach, FL and spoiling her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her brother, Carl Azzoto. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Walter “Lee” Henderson; her son, Scott (Crystal) Henderson; her daughter, Dawn (Jesse) Norcross; five grandchildren, Dakota, Zachary and Austin Henderson, Faith and Isaac Norcross; and her sister, Lynn Yonnick; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Gail’s life at 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
