Gail A. Silvaggio's Obituary
Gail A. (Boivin) Silvaggio, 66, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Watertown and resided in the Syracuse area for the last 46 years. Gail was a graduate of CCBI Business School and was employed with General Electric, Niagara Mohawk and OCM Boces for 15 years as a Teacher's Assistant. She taught Religious Education at St. Joseph's Church in Camillus and Holy Family Church in Fairmount. Gail was a member of Holy Family Bereavement Group and The Brightoneers Craft Club. She enjoyed crafts, especially making greeting cards, gardening and golf. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Richard V. Silvaggio; two sons, Mark R. (Minta) Silvaggio of Charlotte, NC and Matthew D. (Tara) Silvaggio of Trumbull, CT; three siblings, Robert (Rita) Boivin of Baldwinsville, Monica (Peter) Carroway of Liverpool and David (Sandra) Boivin of Calabash, NC; two step-grandchildren, Jermaine and Chrystelle; an uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 8:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Holy Family Church. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. Contributions in Gail's memory may be made to Holy Family Church Building Fund. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital and the Hematology-Oncology Department at Brittonfield for their loving care and support.
