Gary F. LeBlanc, Sr.'s Obituary
Gary F. LeBlanc, Sr., 83, of Liverpool, passed away May 24, 2026, at Upstate University Hospital. He was born in Malone, NY, son of the late Clarence A. LeBlanc and Rita M. (Collett) Beaudin and graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy High School. He received his associates degree from CCBI in Syracuse, NY. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. Gary was previously employed with Rollway Bearing, Prudential Ins., Agway, and retired from New Process Gear in 1999 and was known as “The King”. One of Gary’s favorite sayings was “Good morning New Venture Gear-rock n roll is here to stay, so let’s get it together and do it one more day.”
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Saundra “Sandy” (Bailey) LeBlanc; two sons, Gary and Daniel LeBlanc; 2 stepsons, Douglas Kliphon, Jr. and Thomas Kliphon; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Featherly; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, from 10 am – 12 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Gary’s life at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Food Bank of CNY, 7066 Interstate Island Rd., Syracuse, NY 13209.
