George J. Constas' Obituary
George John Constas, 83, of Cicero, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness.
He was born on May 29, 1935, son of the late John N. and Cannellio (Geracimos) Constas. George is a U.S. Navy veteran. George began his printing career at Eastwood Litho and later retired from Syracuse Litho after many years of dedicated service.
His passions were golfing and woodworking, a "Jack of all Trades", he could build or fix anything. He was a member of St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, a past member of Sawdust and Woodchips, and McConnellsville Golf Club.
George enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Nicholas (Olympia), Robert (Jean), and Gus (Claudia); and sister, Joanne (George) Allis.
George is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 62 years, Elaine Constas; daughters, Cathy (Wayne) Kinville and Carolyn Wong; his son, John (Deborah), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his special cousin, Corina.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd., DeWitt, NY, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of George’s life at 12:30 pm. Burial will be in Oakwood Morningside Cemetery following the service.
