Very sorry to learn today of George's passing. George worked with me in the Materials Engineering Dept at Raytheon and was a key contributor and problem solver on so many programs. George was my go to expert on adhesives and polymers. On one occasion we worked together in Portsmouth for what seemed to be weeks on end. Somehow at the end of the day we managed to find ourselves enjoying a late meal and watching his beloved Syracuse basketball team on the TV. He was a terrific engineer and a great guy. George and I spent many hours combing through “stuff” at Spag’s! We were also did car pool when gas prices soared! George taught me many woodworking tips. Linda,Lloyd and all the family of my dear friend George. I met George through church in our Confirmation class and remained friends until our paths took us from Syracuse. We had years of great memories and I will cherish them always. So sad to hear of his passing and hope that his family is warm with the remembrances of his smile and sense of humor.
