George was a great man. He would fix my car, but I would love just going in and talking to him. I didn't know that he passed away until I rode by the shop and everything was gone. I'm just finding out now. Rest in peace George and I'll pray for your family for your loss
I'm just now learning of George passing away last June... He was one of the greatest people you could know. I bought cars and trucks from George over 20yrs. I'm not wealthy by any means. I can't afford new cars and high payments.. I could always go to George and he would help me. George would kid around with my late wife Heather when we went to his lot looking. She was probably glad to see him up there and thanked him for looking out for me since she's been gone.. There are few people in this world with a kind heart as big as George Mageean had.
I got to know George enough through the past quite a few years, as he was a fregquent guest at my restaurant...he'll be greatly missed here by myself and my staff. Always in a good mood, and a generous, well liked man here! I am sorry to have missed his passing and wake. Regards and condolences to the entire family.

I have known George a long time. He was one of the regular customers at Colonial Drive- In and the A & W . He was a very nice man. He will be missed. My condolences to his family .
Mr. Mageean had a giggle in his laugh that just made you smile...and even when he was trying to tell us what we did wrong he had that little giggle. I spent so many hockey weekends growing up with him telling me not to listen to the other parents they didn't know what they were talking about that my dad was the coach and even if he was crazy he was the one behind the bench, not them!!!! Haha, that giggle. You will be so missed, my heart goes out to Kelly, Matt, Toni, and your kids. I would like to think he and my dad are up there revisiting some hockey games, late-night hotel shenanigans, and Irish tales! Much love to you all at this time.
When I used to work in Lincoln National Bank in the 70's ,our Auto adjustment Dept. worked with George . He was a great guy to work with. R I P George
Rest in Peace dear cousin George Mageean. He was an Irishman through and through with a big heart for people. He was so proud of his family and especially his beloved grandchildren. May their many memories bring them comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with them all. I'll remember the twinkle in his eye, his chuckle and his stories. I'm sorry I didn't get to see more of him this side of heaven but I'm sure he's getting a grand welcome up there now. And as my grandfather, his uncle Richard, used to say "God be with you 'til we meet again". ☘️💚
