Gerald F. "Jerry" Addison's Obituary
Gerald F. “Jerry” Addison, 72, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2024. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Thomas Addison and Frances (Oliveri) Polumbo. Jerry was considered a “Jack of all Trades” and worked in the trucking and construction industries.
He is predeceased by his two brothers, Donald and Gene Addison.
Jerry is survived by his son, Joshua (Allison) Addison; his stepson, Ronald (Megan) Mayer; his grandchildren, Olivia and Sydney Addison, Emalie and Natalie Mayer; his brother, David Addison, along with several cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service in celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Friday May 17, 2024 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
