Every friday I looked forward to seeing Jerry come through my line at Wegmans. He always put a smile on my face. He truly was a kind gentleman. He is very missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Mr. Stone was such a kind person. He always made me laugh with his stories while I visited him. He will be truly missed. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

On behalf of the Liverpool Public Library as well as me personally I want to extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of your dad. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and speak to him. His presence will surely be missed by staff, as well as members of the public that sat in the reading room with him. He had a favorite chair he would sit on and after I was told of his loss I went over and sat in that very same chair. I felt his presence for that moment and thanked him for coming to our library. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. He won't be forgotten.

Deena and Peter,
Please accept the sympathy of Le Moyne College on the occasion of the death of your father. Be assured of our prayers for him, for you and for your family.
Deena, Sandy, and Adrienne,
Please accept my most sincere sympathy in the loss of your dad. I remember Gerry as an avid reader. He would talk with me about words and their usage. One of my very favorite gifts in my life is the Thesaurus he gave me decades ago. I still have it and won't part with it. It was such a thoughtful gesture. When I was President at North Florida Community College, he made a surprise visit to me. I looked up from a pile of paperwork and he was standing in my doorway. He didn't stay long, but he wanted to stop and say hello to me and congratulate me on my selection as President. It was lovely to see him and so kind of him to stop to say hello. He always impressed me as a gentle soul. Please know that I am thinking of you all at this very sad time.
