Gerloma F. "Gerry" Lembo's Obituary
Gerloma F. “Gerry” Lembo, 85, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020. Born in Syracuse to the late John and Gerloma (Palmisano) Sansone, she worked several dedicated years for the Onondaga County Board of Elections. Gerry loved to have lunch on a regular basis with all her school friends from St. Lucy’s. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents, Gerry was predeceased by her husband, Dominic, in 2013; her daughter, Christine Lopedito, in 2014; and several siblings.
Gerry is survived by her daughter, Valerie (Joseph) Picciano; a son, Dominic D. (Colleen Sullivan) Lembo II; 7 Grandchildren, Angela (Shaun) Lobdell, Joseph Picciano III, Michael (Shannon) Lopedito, Chelsea (Elijah) O’Brien, Reilly Rae Lembo, Jesse Lembo, and Brodie Lembo; 5 great-grandchildren, Liliana Lobdell, Amelia and Delilah O’Brien, and Dominic and Damien Lopedito; 3 brothers-in-law, Peter (Dolores) Lembo, Daniel Lembo, and John Lembo; sisters-in-law, Anna Galer, and June Lembo; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212 immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Gerry’s life at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Gerry will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Warners, NY.
