Giuseppina Cama's Obituary
Giuseppina (Saia) Cama, 87, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Spadafora, Sicily to Antonio and Filippa (Fede) Saia. Giuseppina resided in the Syracuse area for the past 35 years. She was employed with Learbury Clothes as a seamstress for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Pietro Cama in 1975; her parents, Antonio and Filippa Saia; 3 sisters, Santa Squadrito, Frances Saia, Nina Zullo and 2 brothers, Leo and Paul Saia. Giuseppina is survived by 3 sisters, Grace (John) Maduri of Toronto Canada, Patricia Panto of Liverpool, and Angela (John) Berardi of Syracuse; her caregiver and niece, Maryann Panto-Kline of Liverpool with whom she resided; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/ St. Peter Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 pm.
