Gladys Doris Monington-Jones' Obituary
Gladys Doris Monington-Jones, 84, passed away August 16, 2021 at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late Rex and Seranoosh Monington. Gladys formerly worked at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in the records department. She loved playing cards, board games, dancing, and spending time with friends; she also enjoyed traveling, fine dining and outings.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Franklin Delanor Rosevelt.
Gladys is survived by her children, Shelia (Robin) Ellis and Gail (Robert) Beaudry; grandchildren, Danielle Batch, Allen Ellis, Brenden Boshart, Kylie Boshart, and Jacob Boshart; great grandchildren, Bentley Batch, James Batch, Ophelia Boshart and Harrison Elmer, as well as her close friend, Kathy Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11 am – 12 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Gladys’ life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
