Glenn M. Walrath's Obituary
Glenn M Walrath, 66, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Oswego to the late John and Sally (Merritt) Walrath, he obtained an associate degree in HVAC from Pitt Community College in Greenville, NC. Glenn was an independent contractor working on HVAC units for many years, but also was a nurse for St. Joseph’s Hospital, and worked for his best friend, Jon Loveless, at Loveless Hardwood Floors. Glenn was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Most importantly, Glenn was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, people gravitated towards him because he was always so kind and generous.
Glenn was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Kinane) Walrath; children, Elizabeth Walrath, Anthony (Sherry) Walrath; grandchildren, Anthony, Ethan, Owen, and Liam Walrath; Greg (Nan) Walrath; and his beloved dog, Maynard.
In keeping with Glenn’s wishes, there will be no services.
Glenn’s family would like to thank the caring staff at Upstate University Hospital and Jon Loveless for always taking care of his buddy.
