Gloria (Gallipeau) Barcume's Obituary
Gloria (Gallipeau) Barcume, 84, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born in Brownville, NY, daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Silsby) Gallipeau. Gloria worked as a popular cafeteria manager at Gaylord Brothers for over 25 years, retiring in 2004.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her spouses, Roger Pangaro in 2019, William Barcume in 1985 and Edward Clute in 1975, as well as her sister, Nancy Eldebroom in 2012.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Bonnie J. Rao (Clute) and son-in-law, Michael Rao; three grandchildren, Salvatore, Andrea and Andrew Rao; five great-grandchildren, Leila Guidry, Christian DuBois, Jordan Milz, Amelia Rao and Camille DuBois; siblings, Robert Gallipeau and Kristine Gallipeau (Conti), Ronald Gallipeau and Maria Gallipeau (Carioti); several nieces and nephews; her beloved dog, Sneakers and her neighbor and family friend, Brenda Osborne Pavia.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A funeral service in celebration of Gloria’s life will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the funeral home, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
